The Department of Mechanical engineering organized a Industrial Visit for 3rd,5th & 7th Semester students to TATA Skill lab, Govt (W) ITI, Majagoan, Belagavi, on 10th December 2024. The TATA Skill lab, Govt (W) ITI was an exceptional and insightful experience for the mechanical engineering students, who were accompanied by the department faculty members. A TATA Skill lab generally emphasizes training students in the CNC/VMC, Laser cutting machine, Electric Vehicle & knowledge about Automobile parts and working offering them practical experience and knowledge of Technology.
The Department of Mechanical engineering organized an Industrial Visit for 4th & 6th Semester students to MG Automotives (Bus & Coach) Pvt, Ltd., Desur Belagavi, on 17th May 2025.The visit to MG Automotives (Bus & Coach) Pvt, Ltd was an exceptional and insightful experience for the mechanical engineering students, who were accompanied by the department faculty members. A modern Bus Manufacturing Plant in Belgaum, Karnataka catering to major OEM’s like Ashok Leyland and Volvo, Eicher Commercial Vehicles Ltd. for domestic and export market.
