The department was established with Undergraduate program in 2010, M.Tech in Production Engineering & System technology in 2014 and Research centre approved by VTU in 2018.
The department of Mechanical engineering has state of the art infrastructure in its laboratories to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus. We have a team of dedicated and competent faculty with research bent of mind, driving the department towards excellence in quality education, project guidance, as well as R & D activities. The department regularly organizes several seminars, webinars and workshops to enhance the skills of both students and teachers. The department has established good track record in academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Students are actively participating in K.Tech and MSME incubation project works of institute, students do participate in National/International technical paper contest. The department is successfully producing highly knowledgeable, competent and skill-full young engineers who can perform well in various profiles.
To Impart quality education in Mechanical engineering by developing the core competencies to meet the diverse needs of global challenges.
M1:Educate Our students with domain knowledge and practical skills by competent faculty in response with technological developments.
M2: Adopt student-centric learning techniques to develop analytical and real time problem solving-skills.
M3: Develop a compelling atmosphere to understand the technical and managerial principles and efficacy of lifelong learning.
